Collegiate Support
Our alumnae chapter supports Sigma-Northwestern University and Eta Mu-Lake Forest College.
We annually host two collumnae philanthropy events during the year, one with each chapter. In October, we hold a "Puppy Shower" with Lake Forest College benefitting Leader Dogs for the Blind. Collegians and alumnae paint dog food bowls that we then donate to the training school, we eat delicious treats, and play hilarious games at Hadley School for the Blind. Every February, we join with Northwestern chapter for a "Tactile Valentines" event. We eat homemade sweets and work with visually impaired children from The Chicago Lighthouse to create accessible valentines.
In April, we celebrate Founders Day with the two collegian chapters and we host a Senior Sendoff for both groups in May. We provide help throughout the year with recruitment and COB and attend their collegian initiations to lead the alumnae charge. We love our collegian sisters and welcome any opportunity to interact and support them!
